all the rooms are neat with a stunning view and the staff is excellent. the setting is incredible and lovely, short walk to the mountain, the restuarant, and switzerland. horw district deserves your time and attention.

The quadruple room we stayed in was huge with amazing view. There were central heating, multi-channel TV, and a seating area provided.

The room with a stunning view. The staff was nice and everything was good. Location: the hotel was so close to Horw train station, the hillside which was quite a long drive from the main road and the Lake Lucerne.

My family and I recently stayed at Gasthaus Schwendelberg and had a wonderful time. The location is absolutely amazing, with breathtaking views of the mountains and lake right from our room and the restaurant. The owner was incredibly kind and gave us some great recommendations for sightseeing in the area. The room size was more than enough for our needs, and the breakfast provided was delicious. Plus, the little playground outside and the books and toys in the restaurant were a hit with my kids. We would definitely stay here again for the stunning views and family-friendly amenities.

I got amazing value for my money at this hotel! The breathtaking view from the room was totally worth it, and the staff were so friendly and warm. The location was great for hiking and exploring the area.
